“BL” means love (story) between boys.
The pronunciation is “bee elu”.
“BL” is an abstraction for “boy’s love”.
This word is a slang among otaku people, but these days getting common than before.

Yaoi(やおい) is almost same meaning of BL, but yaoi(やおい) is almost an obsolete word.
