Meaning of “Moumuri(モームリ)”

“Moumuri(モームリ)” is the name of a company that provides job resignation agency services(退職代行サービス).
The name comes from the Japanese phrase “mou muri(もう無理)” which means “I can’t take it anymore”.

This company communicates the client’s intention to resign and handles the resignation process on their behalf.
You might think, “You should do that yourself,” but apparently there are companies that try to stop people from leaving or refuse to accept their resignation—so in those cases, this service can be useful.

It’s understandable if someone uses it to escape from a “black kigyou(ブラック企業)” (which means exploitative workplace), as mentioned above.
But it seems there are also people who use resignation services for what might be considered overly soft reasons—things like “Well, that’s just part of being a new employee,” you know?

Even so, trying to properly go through the resignation process instead of suddenly stopping going to work—
maybe that’s a very Japanese thing…?
What do you think?
