Meaning of “StThin(ストシン)”

“StThin(ストシン)” is an abstraction for Stranger Things(ストレンジャーシングス).
* We also call “Netflix(ネットフリック)” “Netfli(ネトフリ)”.
As I’ve mentioned before, Japanese people love shortening things into four-syllable words.

By the way, I’m also a fan of “StThin(ストシン)”!
There’s a Stranger Things pop-up store is open in Omotesando, Tokyo right now (December 2025), so I went to check it out!
I also went to the one in Shibuya back in 2022, but this time it was even more crowded!
